Bike Build

Our charity Bike Build sees teams speeding through a set of challenges to earn stamps to fill their bike passport to purchase bike parts. We supply everything required to assemble a bicycle for a little boy or girl – from the handlebars, to the wheels, and all necessary tools. As teams work in high gear, testing their amateur bike mechanic skills, our energetic facilitators guide them through the building process. Once assembled and checked for safety, teams race their bicycles to the finish line. At the end of the event the bikes are donated to children in need.

Participants are divided into teams and must work together to complete each station, assemble a bike, and cross the finish line.

On the field there is a series of stations set up with each station containing a different team building game. Once completed teams receive a stamp for their bike passport. Once every station has been completed, teams can obtain all of their bike parts from the mechanical shop. Teams will then be tasked with building their bikes, with the help of an instructional sheet and our facilitators. After they’be been checked for safety the bikes will be raced to the finish line.
