Game times will remain the same with two halves of 21 minutes running time each, with a short break in between halves. The fall and winter seasons will consist of 12 or 13 games depending on the league day, which will include 2 playoff or consolation games. League rules will not change and continue to apply to all league games.
All teams will choose the night of the week that works best for them and they will only play on that one night. There will no longer be any crossover leagues.
When you register, you will need to select a skill level for your team from the following options (Recreational = division 5, Intermediate = divisions 3-4 or Advanced divisions 1-2). Once registration closes, teams will be placed in specific divisions 1-5 depending on the league day.
To all the Messis and Ronaldos of the league, don’t worry your goals will continue to be tracked and posted for all to see! Golden boot trophies will be awarded to the top scorers of each division at the end of the season.
You’re in good hands! The games will be officiated by the same group of referees with your favorites and not-so-favorites returning.
There will be no breaks here! The league will continue to deal with disciplinary matters in a firm manner. Red card infractions and other incidents will be dealt with by issuing out warnings, suspensions and fines.
Everyone on your roster will need to create a profile at: https://toronto.sportsocial.club
All players can upload a profile picture to be added to your weekly game sheet.
The credit notes will be honoured and accepted as long as the expiry date hasn’t passed. In order to redeem them you will need to call the TSSC office and provide the gift certificate number.
